Settings for creating PDF files

 

General

Temporary folder to save PDF files (there must be enough space left and set correct permissions on folder) Please select a blank folder to save temporary PDF files. The folder must have correct permissions to read and write files in folder.

 

Delete temporary PDF files after sending by email Check this option to remove all created PDF files after sending by email.
Creating PDF files Select variant for PDF file creation.

 

Use printer "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" for Microsoft Office documents, Office 2007 or newer must be installed Select this variant for creating PDF files from Microsoft Word or Excel files. Office 2007 and newer must be installed.

There are no more options for PDF file creation.

 

Use OpenOffice/LibreOffice PDF export for OpenOffice/LibreOffice documents This variant is for OpenOffice/LibreOffice Writer or Calc documents only. OpenOffice/LibreOffice 4.x, 5.x must be installed. It's recommend to use LibreOffice 5.x.

Use RedMon/Ghostscript (deprecated) Creates with RedMon and Ghostscript PDF files.

It's not recommend to use this option, there can be problems while installing drivers and during PDF file creation.

  • You must install Ghostscript and RedMon for creating PDF files. You can find the install instructions in the internet.
  • You can only create PDF files from documents if the application supports the "Print To" shell command, e.g. Word and Excel supports this command.
  • SuperMailer creates first all PDF files in a temporary directory after then it sends the files. Please make sure there is enough free space in the temporary directory available.

There are some options for PDF creation, click on "Settings" to change it.

 

 

 

Digital signature

Select a S/MIME certificate from Windows certificates store or select ad PFX file from you computer, to let SuperMailer add a digital signature to a created PDF file.
